Sapiens Vertical Bookcase by Bruno Rainaldi

The Sapiens Bookcase, designed by Bruno Rainaldi, is a minimalist and elegant piece of furniture that maximizes vertical space.  The design is both functional and aesthetically pleasing, as the structure virtually disappears when filled with books, creating a harmonious effect. The Sapiens Bookcase is versatile and can blend seamlessly into various settings, such as living rooms, bedrooms, or hallways.

The Sapiens Bookcase is constructed of a steel tube column and epoxy painted or varnished steel sheet shelves. Clean and minimal, a Sapiens Bookcase is a great contemporary example of form following function. We recommend a 2.5 kg (5.5 pounds) weight capacity per shelf. (The base is a solid piece of steel and can also hold books.)

Made in Italy.  Original and licensed design.  Designed by Bruno Rainaldi.

Small - H 38 1/4" x D 13 3/4" x W 13 3/4" (6 shelves, typically ~ 35 books) 

Medium - H 60" x D 13 3/4" x W 13 3/4" (10 shelves, typically ~ 50 books) 

Large - H 79 1/2" x D 13 3/4" x W 13 3/4" (14 shelves, typically ~ 70 books)

Materials: Column in steel tube.  Base in steel sheet.  Shelves in sheet steel. Structure epoxy paint in black, white, aluminum, anthracite, faux corten, or unvarnished steel. Requires minor assembly. Shelf size - 7 1/2" x 5 1/2".
